After a long and winding journey the House of Commons will vote on the UK
Climate Change Bill within days.
The Government’s advisors, the Climate Change Committee, have published
strong advice urging the Bill to be strengthened, and the new Secretary of State
for Energy and Climate Change, Ed Milliband, has responded positively.
This is great news, but on one last remaining demand the Government is still
refusing to concede: we need the Bill to include Britian’s
share of emissions from international aviation and shipping.
Please take a moment to look at your MP’s views and email them and ask them to strengthen the Bill.
