MPs views on a strong climate change bill

After a long and winding journey the House of Commons will vote on the UK Climate Change Bill within days.
The Government’s advisors, the Climate Change Committee, have published strong advice urging the Bill to be strengthened, and the new Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, Ed Milliband, has responded positively.
This is great news, but on one last remaining demand the Government is still refusing to concede: we need the Bill to include Britian’s share of emissions from international aviation and shipping.

This is likely to be our final opportunity to strengthen the Bill before the law is passed and whilst many MPs agree with our demands others don’t.  We’ve published all 59 Scottish MPs views on the Climate Change Bill.
